This is "cherry" - A 1300 type 1 owned by Robyn . This is going to be her first car and she is very excited to be having her own beetle . She is even more excited as this was originally her Mother's car which she sold some years back - only for them to buy it back . It has had some work done in the past to patch it up . Some good some not so good . Anyway its a keeper for Robyn so its here to get some lovin

How Cherry arrived with us - Not looking too bad but having failed an MOT

















Started to strip down

Floor pans showing signs of age.

Heater channels have been repaired to MOT standards !!!!!



Passenger door hinge is welded in place

Engine removed

Ready to be put away for a while

Dash is all stripped

As is the front and all the electrics

Brake fluid has leaked and done some damage

bulkhead has had big repair - welded to the floorpan

The heater channels need replacement so body is braced

Holding left to right and side to side

Once separated the body will sit on a rotisserie to allow access
